primer

Recommended Posts

ive tried it and its the best primer ive used. the only thing to look out for is that you get the "normal" primer rather than the filler primer or plastic primer.

theres a fair chance it could have been me lauding the values of halfords grey primer to people that you are talking about.. im a big fan.

I find the Grey primer from halfords to be really good.

Also for doing the rank and file with my blood angels i used Army Painter Dragon Red as a base coat and turned doing squads of assault marines into 30-60mins of work total on each rather than the normal build up from grey with Scab red to 50/50 then Full Blood Red etc etc.

Quick question on a similar topic, have you guys tried the Halfords primer for Forgeworld models? I've just bought a load and don't want to ruin them with GW undercoat if it's only going to flake off!

Is this the primer you're all using?

I tend to use the grey primer but you will still have to wash of the resin release agent and dry beforehand
