is it worth it? really? iv been thinking getting that box for my vanilla marines, but is it really worth it? how many marines i can kit out with that box? And how many robed bodies do i get with that box?

Unfortunately you are too late to take advantage of the older price with more sprues which was definitely worth it. You used to get enough to make 10 robed marines (with bolters) and a butt load of extra bits for 20 USD. What you do not get is special weapons and bases.

Now it's half as much bits for 13.25 USD (so basically half as much as everything mentioned above but slightly more than half the price).

 

Is it still worth is? Only 5 robed marines now, but I'd still say it is, especially if you want robed marines and DA bits but don't need the weapons that the DA Vets box contains.

Here is the update. I added "(attached to arm)" for bolters and "sheilds" for Deathwing heraldry just to make things more clear. I guess the two little vials are the "grenades"? I was never quite sure what they were.

I bought 10 of them at the old price.... The helmet wings will find use as High Elf SIlver Helms wings no mistake... And I've started on my DA company by cutting the SoS from Azzy and replacing the sword on a vintage DA Master

Nice update EPK. I bought I think 3 of the old boxes when they were cheaper than a tactical box. They have come in so handy for a lot of conversion work on marines/termies/vehicles. I'm currently in the process of turning those power maces into thunder hammers instead of buying a whole new box or the bits themselves. The bits are also really useful for making sergeants or vets. The extra power swords/fists are great for it. I just wish they came with deathwing thunder hammers as that would just be an absolutely ridiculous bargain.
