personally i would magnitize Bjorn weapons so you can switch them up.the Long fangs from what i've read should be missile launcher

Firstly, welcome to the Fang!

As to your questions, point for point, you cant beat Missile Launcher Long Fangs brother!

As for Bjorn, I often see him armed with a Plasma Cannon so your good there.

Anyways, again, welcome to the Fang laddie, have an ale and make yourself at home! ;)

-picks up ale and cheers you with it- ok thank you im going to take it missle launchers are the jack of all try weapon then?

Yes they really can do it all, almost ;) They can toss out Frag plates to disrupt mobs of infantry or target vehicles/heavy troops with krak rounds.

Plasmacannons! I love me some plasmacannons! Honestly, they are one my most favorite weapons in the whole game. My long fangs use them often, and you will hardly ever see a dread of mine without one. Terminators? Be prepared to make a whole lot of invulnerable saves ;) !

I also loathe M. launchers, they never fail to fail me, unlike plasma cannons. If I want anti tank, I give my long fangs razorbacks with tl lascannons.

I tend to use two packs with 3x ML, 1x PC(no, not the computer, silly), and 1x LC supported by two TL LC Razorbacks and a TL HB Razorback. It gives me a nice all-rounder squad, and I don't lose out on some of the weapons firing because of the mixed targets due to the Split Fire rule. I can use the Razorbacks which are normally empty to go along the sides so that a vulnerable spot is always towards me. Try a bunch of combinations by proxy until you find one for your army. What is your army, by the way, and how do you plan to play it?
I forgot, if you have the points for two long fang packs, I give another one all lascannons along with the TL lascannon razorback.

That's a of a squad, be a solid way of insta killing three pesky paladin squad and horse they ride in on. Before any one mathhammers my statement and points out the odds of a las taking out a land raider and then a squad of 5 paladins with invulnerable saves, trust me I know, in one turn it wouldn't happen. : P

But I think that will be a squad I try with a 1750 point list, I like redundancy for armor destruction purposes.

Welcome for starters. May your tankard be full and your meat be rare.

Long Fang wise, I'm currently looking at 3xML / 2xPC. That's only in 1000pts so shouldn't be too much AV14 about. ML are the all rounders choice of weapon for sure.

^^^^ I would love to blow up one of their new storm ravens. Full of terminators and a dread. Vrrrppp.... BOOM!

a dreadknight in a stormraven?

you know a dreadknight is a monsterous creature right.

He didn't say dreadknight. Gks do have dreadnoughts, but at the same time you won't see any of their dreads in ravens since they're Rifledreads

i made a silly error with my wish list with adding Bjon in my army. Bjorns saga will not allow me to take him becouse im running Njal in my amry. so ill be adding a Ven dreadnought in is place.

You are mistaken. You ignore that for special characters. P. 64 of the Codex: "Because the Space Wolves are a diverse and proud bunch, no two characters may bear the same saga. The exception to this rule is special characters, who have their own stories and abilities above and beyond the sagas. For instance, you could take a character of your own invention and purchase him the Saga of Majesty, despite the fact that you intend him to accompany Logan Grimnar, who bears the same saga."

This also means that it's possible to take a Wolf Lord with saga of the bear, Arjac who comes with saga of the bear, and Logan who has eternal warrior and have 3 characters immune to insta death for example. So there's nothing against you taking Bjorn and Njal in the same army. You could take Bjorn, Njal, Logan, and a Wolf Lord all with Saga of the Majesty if you really wanted to

I used Bjorn at last weeks blogwars where special characters were mandatory and he was immense, 5 paladins and draigo fell to him in 2 turns worth of combat and he was half an inch away from winning the game for me.

Kill points against an army with three kill points is horrendous

Only three? What was your list and how many points was the game?

I will chime in and mirror what others have suggested.

-My Bjorn is magnetized, but most of the time he rocks the Plasma Cannon.

-Long Fangs, four launches and a plasma cannon, or five launchers.

End of Line

you know if you give a dreadknight an upgrade (that i cant remember the name of) it becomes jump infantry so you can fit 6x dreadnights in a storm raven. Honestly read the dex!!
