^^^^ I would love to blow up one of their new storm ravens. Full of terminators and a dread. Vrrrppp.... BOOM!

a dreadknight in a stormraven?

you know a dreadknight is a monsterous creature right.

you know if you give a dreadknight an upgrade (that i cant remember the name of) it becomes jump infantry so you can fit 6x dreadnights in a storm raven. Honestly read the dex!!

But can you even take 6 Nemesis DreadKnights? I thought they were heavy only so 3 max.

No you cannot, it only gives them the ability to teleport, not jump like jump infantry. And they can only use it once!

Personal teleporter says: "Units with personal teleporters are Jump Infantry." Can you support your statement that a DreadKnight with personal teleporter can't move like jump infantry also?

You are correct in it making normal grey knights Jump Infantry, but it does not make the dreadknight jump infantry as well, its just like wings on a demon prince or hive tyrant. But again, it is not like a normal jump pack type of equipment, it is a teleporter and it may only be used once, and may not assault afterwards, but the range is 30".

I understand that you are relating one thing in one codex, to something else in a different codex. However, this seems like fabricating rules that make sense to you. I am unfamiliar with the demon and tyranid codices that you are drawing conclusions from and let me ask again more specifically, can you give any RAW to support your statement that a DreadKnight with personal teleporter cannot move as Jump Infantry even though, according to RAW of the GK codex, it becomes Jump Infantry by taking the personal teleporter?

This is a rather annoying query from the grey knight codex.

I take it to mean that the dread knight moves like jump infantry, but is still a MC, just like it is with daemon princes and hive tyrants.

However by strict RAW, a dread knight with a personal teleporter is no different then a dread knight without, as under the personal teleporter it states "interceptor squads only".

p. 94 of GK codex that lists the dreadknight upgrades and point values:

"May take a personal teleporter* .... "

Immediately below that

"* This works just like the Interceptor Squad personal teleporter (page 28)"

Not only does it differentiate between the two teleporters, but it says explicitly that the dreadknight's personal teleporter works just like the Interceptor's teleporter which, if you go back to the description of the interceptor's teleporter, is what makes them Jump Infantry.

Unless it specifically makes an exception to counting as Jump Infantry, then to say that a DreadKnight can't move like Jump Infantry would be to say that a Interceptor Squad also cannot move like Jump Infantry as Interceptors are in fact "Infantry" and it is the personal teleporter that makes them "Jump Infantry".

I guess this also means that Jaws works on Interceptor squads because they are "Infantry" in addition to "Jump Infantry", Infantry being one of the unit types on the Jaws lunch menu :D
