ommelette Posted May 26, 2011 Share Posted May 26, 2011 New here, these forums are awesome for painting tips and such. I've just picked up the brush again after a 4 year hiatus. Here's a Ultramarine chaplain I had worked on when I was still in highschool. http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s116/Baron_von_Orange/UChaplain.jpg I got some other tyranid vets too, before I quit I was just starting out NMM. Looking back I can definitely see cleaning up the basecoat and highlights on the armour can be cleaned up a lot more.. I also have some Word Bearers which is what I'll be working on when the paints I ordered get in, can't wait to get my dark apostle up in the WIP section. tiny sam Posted May 26, 2011 Share Posted May 26, 2011 these pictures could have a better lightening, but for what I can see, they looks really good! you could have put a tyranids head instead of a chaos one, at the feet of the chaplain to fit with the nid's hunters. good work!
