GooseDaMoose
I think it's supposed to be Roboute Guilliman. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/230679-a-petential-emperor-model/#findComment-2772282 Share on other sites
Pulse
I think it's supposed to be Roboute Guilliman. I agree. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/230679-a-petential-emperor-model/#findComment-2772302 Share on other sites
Codicier Lucion
He is holding a roman gladius so it does seem likely this is Guilliman. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/230679-a-petential-emperor-model/#findComment-2772314 Share on other sites
MadDoc
Yea, that definitely looks like Guilliman to me as well. And heres... The Lion Fulgrim, the Pheonician Angron Dorn (not the best in my opinion) Lorgar Aurelian Ferrus Manus All from the same folks as that mini (Kabuki Models). Ronin Miniatures also produced the following very nice models... Mortarion Sanguinius Magnus the Red Leman Russ Horus Lupercal and of course... The Emperor I'm sure I've missed some, but they all look pretty good to me, and in scale (they're Primarchs, they're meant to be big (the Magnus is bigger than the others too since he was supposedly giant)). sponsra
yeah, the Kabuki ones are really nice. But at Ronin miniatures someone needs anatomy lessons. They cant seem to get the legs right -most obvoius on Horus and Leman russ... Zincite
I don't mind them making those models at all, but with Horus couldn't they have been a little more... subtle? Lord_Caerolion
All of those Ronin models are blatant copies of Collected Visions artwork. It's amazing GW haven't come down on them! Secondly, I completely agree about the Kabuki Dorn model looking crud. The rest are pretty awesome, but their Dorn is... just bad. Torvak Kyre
I think the Kabuki Models are great. I just missed my chance of getting Fulgrim. The Ronin miniatures just seem wrong especially Sanguinius. He looks stupid. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/230679-a-petential-emperor-model/#findComment-2773079 Share on other sites
Oiad
Agreed, who thought it would be possible to make such a pretty-boy as Sanguinius so hidious. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/230679-a-petential-emperor-model/#findComment-2773214 Share on other sites
Bigger-than-Jesus
Actually, the Ronin and kabuki minis are one and the same-Ronin stared work on both Fulgrim and the Lion, amongst others. Also, if you look at the kauki site they sell the plinth the Emperor comes with Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/230679-a-petential-emperor-model/#findComment-2773632 Share on other sites
