number6
I don't think the yellow blade looks bad at all! At least in the images, the glowing yellow eyes are incredibly striking. Is that how it appears in real life, too? ^_^ It almost looks like you photoshopped that effect! Syphon Kai
How did you get the holes for your Storm Bolters/Psycannons so symmetrical? I tried doing a couple of mine but they never line up right. Also what are you using to make the holes? RedemptionNL
How did you get the holes for your Storm Bolters/Psycannons so symmetrical? I tried doing a couple of mine but they never line up right. Also what are you using to make the holes? What I do is make a little notch with the point a hobby knife to guide the drill bit, makes it a lot easier to get the hole where you want. TheDarkOne
Redemption hit it on the nose. making the little guide notch allows you to drill more effectivley. Also, I drill the sides of the bolters first, so the gunbarrells are very thin to drill through. The yellow blade was apinted using a scortched brown base, then layering up golden yellow, sunburst and white. TheDarkOne
Update: Chose to do Orange to Yellow instead of Brown to Yellow on the force weapons. Valerian
I went with yellow (well, I call it gold) for my force weapons, too, when I had my Grey Knights army painted years ago. I think it is a great option. Check out my Avatar for an example of an old Justicar. I really like how yours have turned out though; well done! They don't include a multimelta in the ven dread kit? Really? Yes. Really. http://i364.photobucket.com/albums/oo83/TheDarkOnePB/IMG_1283.jpg Alternate configuration with doomfist and multmelta... reserved almost exclusively for the ven dread dropping in from a stormraven. http://i364.photobucket.com/albums/oo83/TheDarkOnePB/IMG_1285.jpg Pillar Details http://i364.photobucket.com/albums/oo83/TheDarkOnePB/IMG_1287.jpg Like?
