If you walk through snow you leave tracks, and in deep snow you leave a big deep gouge that shows where you've been. Your termies look like they've been standing perfectly still as the snow fell around them <_<

 

Okay, ya called me out on it. The first one I did, I didn't take that into consideration and tried to make furrows afterwards, but I have added layers of half snow/glue behind them to simulate disrupted snow. Note to self: snow is not photogenic, so the 'furrows' don't really show up.

 

Squad 1 is finally done! (mostly, still have some ideas for that blasted cape)

I'm thinking about putting some knot work on the trim of his cape, but doing good knot work is hard enough on a flat surface. We'll see what comes of it.

I'll talk Metalhammer into taking some nicer squad pics later.

 

And I've been holding off on doing the "command" squad. I ordered some of those brass etched bits from forge world and I'll be experimenting with those. They should be getting in today.
