Mad Mek
If you walk through snow you leave tracks, and in deep snow you leave a big deep gouge that shows where you've been. Your termies look like they've been standing perfectly still as the snow fell around them <_< Okay, ya called me out on it. The first one I did, I didn't take that into consideration and tried to make furrows afterwards, but I have added layers of half snow/glue behind them to simulate disrupted snow. Note to self: snow is not photogenic, so the 'furrows' don't really show up. Squad 1 is finally done! (mostly, still have some ideas for that blasted cape) http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g229/kharne14/SAM_2208.jpg I'm thinking about putting some knot work on the trim of his cape, but doing good knot work is hard enough on a flat surface. We'll see what comes of it. http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g229/kharne14/SAM_2204.jpg http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g229/kharne14/SAM_2206.jpg I'll talk Metalhammer into taking some nicer squad pics later. And I've been holding off on doing the "command" squad. I ordered some of those brass etched bits from forge world and I'll be experimenting with those. They should be getting in today.
