Battle Captin Torodin Posted May 29, 2011 Share Posted May 29, 2011 Greetings Brothers, I have got my hands on the Lugft Huron model and i am quite pleased with how it turned out. obviously the problem now is putting together a list to go with him. i have written two lists so far and cannot decide which to go for. i've wanted to do a mass power armor list for some time now and the Astral Claws over a great opportunity. The first list is: Lugft Huron (using the Vulkan rules) - 190 points 10 Marines Missile Launcher - 170 Points 10 Marines Missile Launcher - 170 Points 10 Marines Missile Launcher - 170 Points 10 Marines Missile Launcher - 170 Points 10 Marines Missile Launcher - 170 Points 10 Marines 4 Missile Launcher - 230 Points 10 Marines 4 Missile Launcher - 230 Points 71 space marines seems quite funny ;) the other list is from the Forge World Tyrants List Hugft Huron - 235 points Legion Centurion - 55 points 30 legion auxilia - 100 points 20 space marine cohort - 300 points 4 missile launchers - 60 points 20 space marine cohort - 300 points 4 missile launchers - 60 points Basilisk - 125 points Basilisk - 125 points Basilisk - 125 points obviously there is room for some tweaking but i am struggling to decide between the two. whats made it more difficult is the recent price hike! a Basilisk now being over thirty quid makes me sway towards the mass marines. any idea, suggestion, inputs and suggestion would be great! thanks guys Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
DavidKits Posted May 30, 2011 Share Posted May 30, 2011 interesting choice to go for as a standard codex marine list... but if your taking Vulken i would at least advise getting some Flamers or Meltas to get some extra firepower out of the tactical squads. not to mention flamers are free helps keeping ya list the same without to much of a change.
