darkaen
just out of curiosity, I know you can only take a heavy weapon for each 5 wolf guard but does this mean you have to have a minimum of 5 to take the first heavy weapon? Growler67
Yes. The rule isn't 1 in every 5 may have a heavy waepon - it's for every 5, one may have (upgrade to) a heavy weapon. Dexo
Remeber the wolfguard you use as battle leaders also count to the unit number. So you can take 5 wolfguard and join 2 of them to other unit, this give you a 3 man wolfguard unit with 1 heavy weapon. Freman Bloodglaive
Pack leaders, but otherwise correct. 5 men, 4 deployed to squads with their combi-meltas and power fists, one with his terminator armour and cyclone missile launcher attached to a long fang pack. Alternatively, 10 men strong, 4 split off to lead squads, 2 cyclone missile launchers in the 6 man terminator squads remaining. This. It's a horrible tactic in some ways, especially when you factor in the Drop Pods, Vindicator and Predator but my god... it works.
