Pig Of Sparta
Hi Everyone, I've managed to get back online briefly and I thought I'd share some photos of something (among other things) that I've been working on. My GK army is being painted to table-top standard but I really wanted to go to town painting a GK figure just to practice some techniques, so I made some purchases from bits sites and came up with this: http://i347.photobucket.com/albums/p456/pigofsparta/Grey%20Knights/DSCN3001.jpghttp://i347.photobucket.com/albums/p456/pigofsparta/Grey%20Knights/DSCN3006.jpghttp://i347.photobucket.com/albums/p456/pigofsparta/Grey%20Knights/DSCN3008.jpg He's still WIP as there's quite a bit left to finish up but he's getting there  Till I manage to get online again, I bid thee adieu James Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/231053-grey-knight-standard-bearer/ Share on other sites

Pig Of Sparta
thanks for your replies guys  @ MagicMan: I didn't intend for his eyes to be glowing, I think it's a combination of the camera's unintended flash and the shading I applied to his eye sockets. @ thedarklordobsidian: you're too kind but thankyou. I briefly entertained the idea of taking this fella to Games Day if I can get there, but on relfection I don't think he'd be worthy. I have tried to push myself with this mini though, the face was painted to imitate 'eavy metal's Dread Knight pilot's one. I also tried to make the shading on the armour 'realistic' and the gold lettering 'really shiny'. thanks again James Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/231053-grey-knight-standard-bearer/#findComment-2780888 Share on other sites
Tyrannicide
Something that I've always noticed about your models are the faces. They're always bursting with realism, and this is no exception. Great job, yet again. :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/231053-grey-knight-standard-bearer/#findComment-2781030 Share on other sites
