tiny sam
Very nice, I love it I love how individual each of your brothers are, its really nice to see - and definetly makes your chapter unique thanks! the books said they are veterans of countless battle, that kind of thing forges you a personnality ! ;) the squad is supposed to tell a "story". the praying brother got shot in the head by an unknown ennemy and the rest of the squad is "acting" with different behavior to cover their brother while he thanks the Emperor for still being alive I began painting process on the praying marine. not quite sure how to do the head wound... if anyone has a tip! the rest of the marine is at a draft states (the rosary has not yet dried on this picture...) so don't juge him now <_< Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/231115-order-of-saint-gergorys-log/page/4/#findComment-2913728 Share on other sites
Terminatorinhell
Id make a tiny hole in his head then fill it with a darker red paint and surround it with brighter red, maybe a bit of white to show the bones in his skull Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/231115-order-of-saint-gergorys-log/page/4/#findComment-2913753 Share on other sites

tiny sam
Thanks for the tip! it worked perfectly, although it's tough to show :tu: I did some progress on the paint job, the head is pretty finished he still need some blending on the robe, free hand on the shoulder plate, fine wash on the golden, some work on the rosary and ... a right arm his base is fhinished but my camera run out of battery befor I could take it. C&C are welcomed! Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/231115-order-of-saint-gergorys-log/page/4/#findComment-2914573 Share on other sites

Dark Apostle Thirst
I like the use of blue. All in all, a very characterful and well done squad so far :tu: Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/231115-order-of-saint-gergorys-log/page/4/#findComment-2916267 Share on other sites
tiny sam
knowing that I won't have much time I take a small vow for the LPC. my army is full of soldiers (4 tacticals) but I don't have any tanks for now so I vow to do : 1 land speeder 2 razorbacks 1 predator Destructor So I must begin if I want to finish in time (I'm already late...) the land speeder already has some work on it, it got assembled and magnetized past week. I chose to do the speeder's hull white as i think it will look better than plain metalic. the pilots however will have the standard metalic scheme. my two rihno's hull went down in a bath for the night in order to get rid of the excess of paint the previous owner has put on them. The turret and some other part already passed this stage some ork loota stole my Autocannon for my predator so I have to scratch build one, here is what I have so far So comments? critics? thanks for watching :woot: Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/231115-order-of-saint-gergorys-log/page/4/#findComment-2998233 Share on other sites
