Tanhausen
Hi there, No codex or BRB available now so... I know that the current libby go for a LD test and then on a 4+ they "dispell" the power (not sure, but I think it goes like this). How do ours work? 1.- Check LD 2.- Roll 1d6 + LD and if I have same or more, I dispell? Thanks! SnaRf.za
Are you referring to the psyhood or the Force Barrier? Psyhood works by beating your opponent's LD +1d6 NB: BEAT, NOT equal or greater Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/231142-how-do-our-libby-work/#findComment-2779656 Share on other sites
Tanhausen
I mean the actualy hood to prevent enemy powers, thanks. What does NB mean? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/231142-how-do-our-libby-work/#findComment-2779670 Share on other sites
skink
NB is an abbreviation of a... ...Greek (?) phrase which I can't remember... It essentially means 'Take note' or 'Note well'. SnaRf.za used it to emphasise that you must beat the score; a draw isn't enough. Isiah
Be careful asking directly ask for any rules <_< .... the B&C risks getting into trouble as giving away 'free' rules would be seen as a breach of GWs IP. Asking for clarification is fine though. It's a fine line. EPK
Looking good! Is he an Apothebrarian? Hehe, I kid. Just noticed the Apothecary bits. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/231142-how-do-our-libby-work/#findComment-2780290 Share on other sites
Tanhausen
@exuslius Its emabarrasingly easy! You make a ball with a bit of a point, like a tear. Then you add fine lines of GS in a spirally way. After 10 min or so, I used a modeling brush and marked a bit more the crevaces. @EPK The body is from the AoBR, no doc bits. Thanks for the comments...I realize its barely a TT paintjob and a basic conversion, but yesterday I was in the mood and Im sure my opponents will prefer this than bare plastic :D Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/231142-how-do-our-libby-work/#findComment-2780383 Share on other sites

Isiah
Nice Libby. Are you going to paint any part of him blue? The right shoulderpad for example? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/231142-how-do-our-libby-work/#findComment-2780670 Share on other sites
Tanhausen
@Cactus I Nota bene :) My favorite though is Timeo danaos et dona ferentes... so true in our hobby... @Isiah Actually, the whole model was primed grey and then inked with blue/violet, red and sephia (all of them personal recepies(sp?)). Then I dry brushed with a dark green (quite heavy with paint) to avoid looking like a smurf, game him a bit of flesh and dotted the eyes (hadn't done it for AGES... look horrible :P ) I've been reading/praticing layering and glazing and blending for the last months so...this paint job ain't something I'm all that proud of: its quick and dirty. I did learn a few things about painting with inks though... so its never a loss. The pics really are a bit of "I know I troll a bit sometimes, and rant and de-rail... here is my I'm sorry bit so you guys see that I actually get to do some stuff from time to time". Thing is I'm always with so little time and so much stuff to do... If someone is interested in a particular aspect of the modelling or "painting" part, please tell me and I'll do a step by step.
