Grimtooth
Far easier to do when you use such things as impassable terrain or board edges to employ this tactic. Opponents that tend to run a transport up a board edge for instance. You end up being able to ignore the entire side that is along the board edge. Marshal Wilhelm
i surrounded a Dark Eldar webway portal with my Fen Wolves. It was pretty funny since I blew up most of his transports, as he was relying on the portal to get closer to me. I've heard of Deldar setting up one portal near "you" [where your guys are] then another that is within charge range of that and within charge range of the table edge. So if you foe wises up, this is what he might try. But it all depends on how many points you play at too. Lord Ragnarok
This is not a new tactic. I thought it was standard practice. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/231212-nasty-tactic-anyone-else-come-across-this/page/2/#findComment-2782677 Share on other sites
Donutzot
You know that the unit inside the landraider can deploy some units when you have a wreck result. The landraider is big enough to put some models up because the rules state that "any excess models are just destroyed The rules stated that when you cant place any models out of the doors. You can place the models within 2" of the hull of the transport. ot: I actually came across this on a tournament the bastard BA(who forgot red thirst) surrounded my rhino with grey hunters with an assault squad he failed to destroy it the first time(failed to hit him even) Then I forgot the obvious TANK SHOCK the hell out of his unit. Then destroyed my rhino. I even had to call a judge to let me place some models. Marshal Wilhelm
This is not a new tactic. I thought it was standard practice. Blood Claws these days, eh? ^_^ It's like they're too busy iVoxing one another to pay attention when the Wolf Guard speak, and then they think they've invented the wheel or something when they 'discover' what was already taught them ;) Now when I was a lad *goes on a rambling rant about Orks being smaller/weedier than before, promethium before 20¢ a litre, etc. etc. * :( Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/231212-nasty-tactic-anyone-else-come-across-this/page/2/#findComment-2783015 Share on other sites
