Hellrender
Just a quick question, i tend to cut some time, by basecoating my Ultramarines with an armypainter spray. Do i use Ultramarines blue (dark) or Navy Blue (lighter). I want to wash afterwards.. (i feel the answer, but wanna be sure before i spend money on it...) Thanks in advance Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/231243-painting-ultramarines/ Share on other sites

UltraRich
Personally I use the following Undercoat black primer I spray with Regal Blue as a basecoat Spray from above with ultramarine blue Wash with Asurman blue Progressive brush highlights with ultramarine blue / white mix So if you go with the above Id use the darker spray as a base and work up from there. If you wanted a quicker result you could just spray them ultramarine blue and then wash them with asurman blue or badab black then highlight. I get this result http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f372/rbrewster101/Untitled-1copy-10.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/231243-painting-ultramarines/#findComment-2781710 Share on other sites
