ilnar Posted June 3, 2011 Share Posted June 3, 2011 Ok, so my LGS is having a pre heresy bash, idea is to get a load of 1750 armies to go up to throne of skulls, Now, this leads to several problems as we have to use current codexi to represent them, which sadly means that auto cannons/plasma in squads is out. Razor backs are out, las pred is out, termie squads are out (iron hands) So! I plan on doing iron hands, I'd though about using the SW codex, but the only thing I realy want out of it is the termie sarges in tac squads. And I'd lose the fun tech marine stuff SM get, So, planning on taking 2 MOTF both with tac squads in LR a thunder fire cannon, Probably a normal techy. A pair of rifleman dress Probably a couple of squads of heavy weapon servitors, And 4 speeders of varying weapon load outs, probably dual HB and dual MM Not the most amazing list, but is has anti horde, anti tank, plenty of daka, So, pre heresy marines, I decided to go post istavaan and post mechanicum split, so available armor is haphazard and made up of whatever the marines can lay their hands on. Thoughts? 2 things 1- Shoulders. They need to be actually attached to the body. Not extending way out like that. 2- the search light surprise in my pants thing. I'm sorry, but I think you need to loose it. Otherwise I like the Max Mini-head for the Dread. It works. FROM THE ONE ANGLE i CAN SEE, i WOULD GO CLOSER IN. bUT i CAN'T REALLY SEE THE SIDE OF THE SHOULDERS AND THAT WILL AFFECT IT A FAIR AMOUNT AS WELL. ::edit:: sorry bout the caps lock. doing some coding while I wrote that response and neglected to turn off the caps lock.
