Gree
That doesn't change the fact that the Emperor also would naturally have command over the entire Imperial armed forces (As well as everything else). Maybe the Emperor is not considered a mere "man". Either that or the Emperor never was in command of the Entire Imperium, since he had given command over to Horus before the full Imperium had been established. I'm pretty sure the Primarchs are not men ethier. Regardless the Emperor is above everybody in the Imperium by default. He's the freaking God-Emperor of Mankind. Emperor>Everybody. Captain Idaho
I'm sure we can agree the details will be different to the Codex material. Hell I've always found it a very loose statement considering the Emperor and Warmaster, but then there have been Warmasters since Horus (usually called things like Lord Commander Solar and the like) and they didn't control the whole of the armed forces. The Emperor on the other hand, is a god-Emperor so perhaps doesn't count? Either way, saying Guilliman was never in the position of responsibility on a similar level as Horus or Dorn is incorrect since he became a High Lord of Terra and Supreme Commander Militant (or something like that). So while I agree there is a possibility of him turning traitor, it certainly isn't because of he wouldn't be able to handle the strain. Right now of course, things change and who knows...
