Superb work indeed! (I especially like the highlights .... fabulous work!)

 

As for the book, well, IMO this particular model looks "busy" enough to not warrant any further additions; however, it might be more fitting than that Iron Halo (unless you're actually going to be using that wargear piece on the model, for some strange reason.), that final piece that makes it all the better.

I suppose a tome is better than a banner-pole for a chaplain, in any case.

 

Prop it there though, and then decide.

You might be right. Adding too much complexity can often detract from the whole, and he might already be busy enough.

 

I'd be afraid to move him around on a bumpy tabletop...
Ya, that is a fear for me, but he has seen combat and shall continue to. Hes practically worth a squad of initiates in battle, if not more.
