The SH termis are great once you have removed the symbols. If you dont want 2 that look identical its dead easy to swap out the chest plate and head for a vanilla terminator front and head. Olis Posted June 6, 2011 Share Posted June 6, 2011 The gold on yellow for your sternguard doesn't really fit, I think. It isn't a great colour combination because they seem to clash badly, what with both colours being very similar, so perhaps a move to just gold might help? And lemme just say, aside from the TONS of blood drops on them, they are some of the finest detailed SM figures GW has put out. However, if you PLAY BA or a successor chapter then the blood drops are good things. They're the same size as a standard 40K termie & the only true downside to them, IMHO (blood drops aside) is their static legs/bodies. That's the only place where I prefer the multi-part kits over them. The lack of head/torso joints is kinda annoying if you happen to have multiples of the same model but on most of them it is able to be remedied to some extent w/ a head & torso swap from a plastic termie kit as Ultrarich pointed out & as seen in my last post. Tomorrow I'll post my first based & completed tac squad. Status of my army being fully painted & based to 2000 pts is as follows: 3 of my tac squads are about 80% complete. The shotgun scouts & their storm are about 50%. Speeders about 50%. Predator is 75%. Vindicator 1 is 90%. Vindicator 2 is 30%. Rhinos 2 & 3 are about 50% Rhino 1 is 80%. Dread is 90%. Razorback is 50% Terminators are 75%. AGPO Posted June 12, 2011 Share Posted June 12, 2011 Hey man, this army is brilliantly converted, but it could do with some work on the painting. As a fellow fists player my recommendation would be to try a wash of watered down vermin brown in the recesses. Likewise a wash of graveyard earth on top of dhneb stone would really improve the robes. Just some things to bear in mind, as with a little work on the highlights this could be a really good army.
