amuro_ray
Hi All, I wonder how the Drop Pod's rule to move avoiding mishap works against our warp quakes, can anyone shed me a light on this? Chengar Qordath
The drop pod's rule only results in it moving in order to avoid impassable terrain and other models, so it provides no protection against Warp Quake. archangelCJ
yep. that's right  i though it would stop the reduction of scatter as well and was excited to show this to the SW guy i play against. and then he showed me that is was a special rule and not a piece of wargear. i had epic sad face :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/231407-warp-quake-vs-drop-pod/#findComment-2783402 Share on other sites
soots
my friend and i had the same discussion..to solve it he deepstriked his pod away from the quake bubble just a little question: if a pod ends up in the bubble as well as coteaz's "ive been expecting you" sight, does the free shot go off or does the pod just mishap? number6
if a pod ends up in the bubble as well as coteaz's "ive been expecting you" sight, does the free shot go off or does the pod just mishap? The pod has to land before you can shoot at it. So the mishap is what happens first. Something Wycked
if a pod ends up in the bubble as well as coteaz's "ive been expecting you" sight, does the free shot go off or does the pod just mishap? The pod has to land before you can shoot at it. So the mishap is what happens first. Something that's interesting because its possible is a Deep Striking unit suffering a mishap due to Warp Quake, being Misplaced and having them then placed near Coteaz for his unit to shoot at. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/231407-warp-quake-vs-drop-pod/#findComment-2784526 Share on other sites

number6
@numer6 thanks for the stern and solid reply number6 :D I hope it wasn't "stern". Just ... brief and to the point. I wasn't trying to imply anything! :tu: Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/231407-warp-quake-vs-drop-pod/#findComment-2785011 Share on other sites
