Droma
I found some news over on bell of lost souls about wave 2 of the Finecast range. Sammy is included and supposedly the wave will be out in August. So only a few months to wait until we get a nice new resin version. Edit: I forgot to post the link to the topic over on BoLS. http://www.lounge.belloflostsouls.net/showthread.php?t=15663 Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/231450-master-of-the-ravenwing-in-finecast/ Share on other sites
exsulis81
yeah, saw that too but considering all the issues GW has been having with QC I would have expected them to hold off for a bit longer. Droma
I'm not too worried about it. GW does have a good exchange policy and I'll be opening mine up in the store just to double check that it's good and I'll just exchange it if it's not. I know there were a good number of miscasts but I know at my local GW at least there were only some minor complaints and one exchange so far. I know my Kaldor Draigo looks good at least. The resin will be nice for Sammy anyway just with how much lighter the material is. It's not likely to snap the flying stand in half the way the metal one is. templarphoenix
Nice, I like this one~ Finally I can cut the Anti-Carrying-sword-arm without a chainsword...(and replace it with a carrying-friendly pose ofcourse) Let's hope CFC won't break the flying base easily... shabbadoo
I would be more worried about the thinnest part of Sammael's sword just above the hilt breaking. Very fragile in resin. Hopefully we will see some special characters in plastic now that some simple Lords/Heroes are being done in plastic for Warhammer Fantasy. I think these releases herald some pretty cool things so far as plastic HQs and even some special characters are concerned. Brother Kovash
Well, I still have the metal Ravenwing master sitting in it's box, waiting to be put together. I think I'll stick with it once I get around to trying Ravenwing out, since it did cost me $40 US. Might be a good idea to wait and see if they ever let us pick a different loadout for Sammael. Then buying one of these would be a great idea.
