Angels_Blade
Hey all, It's been along time. How have you been? I've not posted on here for quite a while as I'm in the process of selling my old Knights Scorpio Army but I have been busy I promise. I am working on an Apocylpse scale Heresy era army made up of Space Wolves, Dark Angels, Custodians and Titans and this here is the start of the Space Wolf force. The bulk of the mini's are done and I'm now starting on the base for them Here they are for your glory, my Armies on Parade entry to GW Preston http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o138/mustanguk/SL383132.jpg http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o138/mustanguk/SL383134.jpg http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o138/mustanguk/SL383135.jpg http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o138/mustanguk/SL383136.jpg http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o138/mustanguk/SL383137.jpg http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o138/mustanguk/SL383139.jpg Going to add a couple of squads of Grey Hunters and 15 more Fenrisian wolves. Maybe a couple of Rhinos or Landraiders or both. C&C Welcome Cheers AB
MagicMan
Nice man, thats a great looking army. Thats a whole lot of fenrisian wolves, too!
Brother Garrod
um ... if its pre-heresy , why is Bjorn in his dreadnought ?
Angels_Blade
Because he's Bjorn...but not Bjorn...but he could be....but he's not. AAARRRRGGGGHHHH I just wanted to paint Bjorn!
Prot
That's funny.... But great army. Truly nice to see a great Wolves army DONE!
Brother Styphus
It isn't very pre-heretical, but it is nicely painted.
Chapter Master Ignis Domus
Well, he does only use Mk. IV helmets, so that counts. I agree, though, it doesn't seem very Pre-Heresy era, though I don't know what you would do. The models are nice, though.
Lord Ragnarok
Because he's Bjorn...but not Bjorn...but he could be....but he's not. AAARRRRGGGGHHHH I just wanted to paint Bjorn! He must have lost a bet, and they stuck him in there as part of losing :D "I will not be placed in this again!" errm.... Good looking army! Love all the Fen. Wolves. Urb
I fine looking army. The metal is done well. A talent I certainly lack. I always liked space wolves.
Chapter Master Ignis Domus
So what's your plan for the board?
Pirate Metal Troy
Ok seriously, is there somewhere that I can buy those MK IV "Maximus" heads? I love them to death, but it looks like they're only available with either the red scorpions or the 5 man maximus squad. That's just a touch pricey for 5 guys in my book. Chapter Master Ignis Domus
Many, many bits sites carry them. The trick is to know when they'll be in stock.
Angels_Blade
It isn't very pre-heretical, but it is nicely painted. I'm not sure I agree that its not Pre-Heresy. For starters they are painted in the old scheme of grey insted of the newer scheme of baby blue. Secondly, they have mk4 armour and no aquillas. But I see your point. Cheers AB
Chapter Master Ignis Domus
Well, many of us choose to ignore the baby blue for the non-heresy models, so that doesn't stand out, and the Mk. IV's,, awesome armor though ti is, isn't incredibly noticeable with all the Fenrisian Wolves and bare heads.
Nomus Sardauk
He must have lost a bet, and they stuck him in there as part of losing ;) "I will not be placed in this again!" errm.... Could be the guy Bjorn inherited his Dreadnought body from perhaps?
barry_hhh
nothing like a well painted army shot! great job whats your colour scheme if you dont mind , i have some wolves i have been meaning to paint, i have been looking for a darker scheme and these nail it :tu:
Hemal
He must have lost a bet, and they stuck him in there as part of losing  "I will not be placed in this again!" errm.... Could be the guy Bjorn inherited his Dreadnought body from perhaps? That's Bjorn's Banner though. TBH the colour scheme would have mutated over time - so there is no reason to assume that he current armour base colour is not just Logan Grimnar's personal taste? Lord Ragnarok
Per the "The Battle of the Fang" book they could be Heresy Plus 1000 years. Bjorn was entombed and they still had the grey grey on their armor.
