Nameless One
Firstly, I am considering making an Inquisitor, this is gonan be a hardnosed guy who spends his tiem in the underbelly of society.. Gangs, Catatcombs etc. Now, Id obviously like cape for the feeling of authority it gives off, however.. The Space Marine Commander pack has one, howeveer, I was in to be sort of ragged and frayd, firstly could you guys help me/suggest/ or even show me how to do this? Also, are there any other ones I coudl also use for a similar effect, and how to mod them? Thankyou ina dvance X Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/231600-space-marine-commander-inquisitor-cape/ Share on other sites
Olis
If you want a ragged and frayed cloak the Chaos Terminator Lord has one that's suitably tatty. :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/231600-space-marine-commander-inquisitor-cape/#findComment-2786295 Share on other sites
Chapter Master Ignis Domus
You'll have to do a fair bit of cutting and green stuffing to fit it on a non-Terminator model, though. Olis
True, but it'll be nearly as much work to tattify a regular cloak, wouldn't it? :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/231600-space-marine-commander-inquisitor-cape/#findComment-2786309 Share on other sites
Chapter Master Ignis Domus
Not really. Just stick it through the washing machine a few times, or cut some jags and holes in it. It's much simpler, especially since the terminator cloak is probably taller than the inquisitor model. Olis
Just stick it through the washing machine a few times, Huh. I have never thought of that. :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/231600-space-marine-commander-inquisitor-cape/#findComment-2786317 Share on other sites
Chapter Master Ignis Domus
I discovered it by accident one day. It works quite well, as long as the part isn't too expensive that you don't want to risk losing it. hushrong
Lord Zhufor has a pretty decent one as well. Same issue in regards to size I think with the Termie Chaos Lord. You could also try to make a GS mold of a cape from one of the Masters of the Chapter box. they are close to an unarmored, human size. Then you can just add detail to it. crandall87
I second the lord Zhufor one although it's not much more tatty than the plastic terminator lords one.
