Well, it's been a while, but I do have some updating to do. I've done some work on my bike squad, and here is where they're at.

I also have the beginning of some more assault troopers. The one in front with the frogging across his chest is going to be the sergeant of my second squad. Like I've said, not much of an update, but this is more to keep myself honest and keep working.

And I'm back after a long hiatus. This will be where I post for my librarium painting challenge. I am painting Dante and a sanguinary guard squad that will include a banner. I'm going to make the guard from parts from many sources, so the will be unique to my knights of blood. Anyways, here is a picture of the first three. The one with the chest plate from the honor guard will hold the banner, and the ones with chainmail hanging from their torsos will be just regular guard.

This is a poor quality picture of my game against some grey knights earlier today. It was annihilation dawn of war and I won 5-4. Dante is an absolute beast when I get him in close combat with the honor guard with the banner and a sanguinary priest nearby. The slaughter he reaped was impressive to say the least. This is from the last turn of the game right before his storm raven destroyed my assault squad. Does this count as a wip picture of Dante? Either way, I'll get a more close up picture.

Here are a few pictures of my progress on my LPC. First off are some basecoated legs and torsos for my banner bearer and two other members of the Sanguinary Guard. Next to that is a picture of some of the weapon arms I plan on using.

Next is a picture of some work I have done on Dante and the banner bearer. You may notice I'm not using gold on these models. I felt that that a chapter as bloody minded as the Knights of Blood would not wear something as gaudy as gold, even if the do polish their armour with the powdered bones of their enemies.

Finally are a few heads that I have been working on for my veterans. I think I will use the knight helms for my guard, and somewhere around here I have some old metal iron warriors helmets lying around, which I also plan on using.

I would love to hear opinions on the color scheme, specifically whether or not I should try to brighten the silver I'm using for the armour. Thanks for looking!

More progress. I have a bit of free time having messed my knee up at muay thai practice and figured I would paint a bit more. I've done a bit of work on my Mephiston model, but that's just basecoating and a small amount of foundation paint work. This is some of what I've been working on.

Another update. I'm starting with a vehicle that I am remarking into the Knights of Blood livery. Obviously a vindicator, I'm torn between adding the siege shield or not. Personally I'm not a fan of it's appearance, but I may need it for gaming purposes.

Wow. These pictures are awful. I need to work on my photography skills, because the tank looks better in person, it's much less orange. Next up is my land raider, which I plan on being the first of two, and I'm also thinking about getting some forge world doors, but I'm not sure which because I don't want pure blood angel livery.

I need to touch up the red a lot. A lot, a lot.

Finally, we come to my LPC vow. My chapter commander (Dante, but I want to come up with a different name and backstory) his personal physician, and two of my sanguinary guard counts as. For the apothecary, I used an older chaos havoc helmet, the death company power fist, and the apothecary bits from the command squad box. I want him to look like the universe's scariest proctologist, so the helmet and the fist looking like it's going to be placed in a horrible place make him look mean. The guard have been fun, I've really enjoyed working on their power weapons. I should have all of these guys done within a week. The next picture is of the standard bearer and the other two guard, who are coming along apace.
