I'm really confused.

 

According to Outcast dead and the rest of there Heresy, Magnus sent his message before Istvaan V, but it arrived after Istvaan V, and Russ was sent (after Isstvan V), but was deluded by Pre-Isstvan V Horus?

 

 

I came up with a solution to this.

 

See this post. In short, make the magnus scene into a outburst from the battle in the webway since that should have still been going on at the time of the outcast dead.
