Purdy81
A dred has 2 attacks as standard with one weapon arm and the dreadnought cc arm, if i replace the cc arm with a missile launcher does this have any effect on his number of cc attacks? Seahawk
No it does not. The only thing that does is reduce his Strength back to 6, and he doesn't ignore armor saves. Otherwise the 2 attacks are kept. thade
A dred has 2 attacks as standard with one weapon arm and the dreadnought cc arm, if i replace the cc arm with a missile launcher does this have any effect on his number of cc attacks? A dreadnought has 2 base-attacks (on his stat-line); so with a single DCCW (a single fist or 'cc arm') he has two attacks. Replacing that single DCCW with a non-CC weapon (in your example, a missile rack) will not reduce the number of attacks he has: he'll still have two attacks, per his stat line. The only things that do change are that he'll be at Str 6 (no longer Str 10) and no longer disallow armor saves when pounding on infantry. EDIT: Seahawk types faster than me. Seahawk
Ask in the Tactica section. Math may say yes, but actual experience says not at all (in my case). Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/231665-dreadnought/#findComment-2787209 Share on other sites
