Hemal
I've started the design work on an updated version of the Classic DA master, using the old model as the base, simple weapon swap with azrael, and the addition of a new plastic backpack. Please feel free to take a look My album Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/231677-da-classic-captain/ Share on other sites
Droma
It's pretty good but as a captain shouldn't he be wearing a robe? I'd like to see how you paint this guy though. Grand Master Neo
i liked the backpack with a cape it came with on the original model. was never a big fan of the new incarnation with the robe over the shoulder Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/231677-da-classic-captain/#findComment-2787573 Share on other sites
Dark Rage
Hey, nice start! Like alot of the classic minitures, always nice to see them in armies, I agree with neo, I wasnt a great fan of the new company master's with the robes although robes do represent higher rank the winged helm is probably enough to show he is an important character. Looking forward to seeing it finished. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/231677-da-classic-captain/#findComment-2787703 Share on other sites
Hemal
I might work a more dynamic cape under the backpack - thinking of using the backpack with the sword mounted atop it. I never liked the whol robes "fetish" on every marine TBH. One in a few is fine, but robes get in the way of mving parts on armour Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/231677-da-classic-captain/#findComment-2787883 Share on other sites

And I think that model is distinctive enough without a robe.
