Holy mother of....

Well, it's feasible. Read the Dornian Heresy thing and it Khornate Wolves won't seem as strange. I mean... the Space Wolves -ARE- space vikings... they may be noble, but everyone knows that real Vikings did some really brutal things.

Yes. I like the idea. I like it alot.

Oh I've seen quite a lot like these lately. Someone here on the B&C was the first with his Khornewolves...but I don't remember who it was.

These here a really nicely done, from the modelling aspect and paintjobwise, but apart from that it's clearly HERESY and must be dealt with the Fenrisian way-leaving virtually nothing left alive.

Plus they're obviously not Fenrisborn, we don't turn traitor-ever.

*And yet another firm believer in our Helix*

that wolf painting is lovely! the man's got some skills! besides, we all know there can't be space wolves, space wolves can't turn to chaos! (yup, a firm believer in the canis helix)

You should check out Christain Bryne Black Legion, which I think has been link on the GW page that shown his Blood Wolves. Having fought his Black Legion in the UKGT 2006, his freehand painting is brillaint.

Some nice conversion in the army.

I like to stay in my fantasy world that wolves just won't turn, at least on a wide basis due to the curse. I think the curse is a defense mechanism to too much chaos intruding on a SW. (along with a way to find untapped energy to bludgeon and chop foes to bits). So instead of turning to chaos a SW brother would simply go 100 percent wulfen, still dishonorable, still a loss, but not falling to chaos. Yes, I know this can be shot down but I'm not taking the red pill :P

These are some beautiful models. I really like the wolf freehand on the landraider. Also I don't think they are supposed to be space wolves turned chaos, more chaos marines turned space wolves.

Now THAT is damn downright HERESY!! You're either a Son of Fenris or you're not dammit! No Traitor gets to come into the fold, save in pieces and adorning the Rout's armor!

I'm with Lord Rags! although those models look cool, it's people like them who ruin an idea.. which in turn grows on other people, making it possible for people to suddenly write official fluff about space wolves who broke their oaths. As seen and written in the chaos codex (Huron)

We have one of the most loyal chapters, who all of a sudden can now fall from grace? completely ignoring the beliefs, culture and superstition of Fenris. Not to mention the canis helix, that was originally designed by the emperor to keep chaos influence at bay. It's a fail safe! te canis helix is a fail safe.. The 13th is proof of that. Being in the eye all this time yet are still loyal. Then some fanboy decided hey, these wolves are going to turn on one another and kill everyone on board cause we lack the will and strength nit to mention ignore our teachings and go renegade with Huron. so why all of a sudden would you have oathbreakers! Sure alright its plausible, but at least they should have written it better! if anything those that do, aren't the alpha of the pack... didn't the story say they killed the wolf priest? I don't remember but yah, a wolf priest! Even a mighty wolf lord bows to a wolf priest. So yah that's my two cents.

there awsome models. and where does that anvil come from on the arjac model?

fantasy dwarves, look it up on the GW site

It is true about the brutal nature of the viking race, however would they follow Khorne or Slaanesh? I also think Night Lords would fit the profile of the real life viking warriors

Seems artist MajesticChicken recently submitted some new art to deviantART, so I thought it fitting to post here, given the current direction of the thread.
