AGPO
Having recently aquired most of the Space Hulk Terminators, I've set about painting them to add to my Angels Sanguine army. Now as the two sergeants both have bare heads, I've decided to paint these squads as a mix of other successor chapters, representing an honour guard of a sacred Blood Angels site. Now with most chapters this is fairly easy, but with Angels Encarmine and Blood Drinkers I hit an issue, namely that the chapter's distinguishing features are located on the shoulder trims and/or back pack. Termies painted in these chapters' colours will simply look like normal Blood Angels. Anyone got any advice?
Brother Nathan
someone on here had carved the winged motif to look like bat wings if that helps? as for blood drinkers? mmm, greenstuf the chalice details off the dead termy and copy them onn and paint them to make it look like its over flowing? Vodunius
"Only the Blood Drinkers follow the heraldic patterns exactly as laid down by the Codex Astartes" That would mean white helmets for veterans/terminators.
Leonaides
And surely the Chapter Symbol would be present somewhere???
Octavulg
For trim, just paint the shoulderpads in what would normally be the trim color. For backpack colors, painting the vents might work OK.
knife&fork
I paint all "special" flesh tearer veterans (pretty much everyone except veteran sergeants) in the old, all black with yellow markings color scheme from the RT days.
