LoneSniperSG
Hey all. I'm working on a small landing area for my Cities of Death stuff, and aside from one landing pad for light skimmers like Landspeeders, I want to dedicate an area on the board (or maybe the whole board?) to a landing area large enough for an Arvus Lighter. I don't know how wide they are though. Based on the images on Forgeworld and using the pilot to guesstimate, I'd say it would probably fit into the same space as a Land Raider? If anyone here owns one, could you measure the thing's width and length for me? Would be much appreciated. Olis
I did a quick google search and a post in a thread on Warseer states it's; 6" from nose to rear, hull is 2.5" at widest point, 1.75" tall without landing gear, Wingspan of 6", each wing is 1" wide, and 4.75" long. (the member posting was called Necrontyr) Judging from pictures on the FW site I'd be inclined to say he's right. If I were you I'd make that landing pad 8"x8" at least. Hope this helps. Barry Murray
I know i am coming to this thread a bit late, but i found an image on google of a guy making three, and you can see the size of paint jars in the background. I don't know if this helps or not. http://i52.photobucket.com/albums/g19/All_the_good_usernames_are_taken/Misc%20junk/arvus-3.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/232367-arvus-lighter-size/#findComment-2814220 Share on other sites
