Whitefireinferno
Why can't you use them? Halberds are still in and they don't have to be 2H'ers it does not matter in the slightest due to you will never get the +1 for 2 CCW anyway. Oh and Halberds are like the best all purpose weapon in your codex other than the Hammer but then I1 can be stupid esp without SS's. Whitefireinferno
you get the storm bolter UNLESS you buy something that states you loose the Storm bolter 2 hander really does mean a great deal of nothing about what you can carry these days Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/232372-old-models/#findComment-2795149 Share on other sites
THE PORTCULLIS
make sure you use them. GW actually made the Halberd arguably the best upgrade for standard GK and this makes them highly usable. They could have so easily nerfed the Halberd making you buy more models but thankfully common sense prevailed. At 2 points for a 2A purifier however, they are awesome. 80% of my old GK have had their heads repainted white because of this ^_^ Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/232372-old-models/#findComment-2796725 Share on other sites

RogueTraderX
There is not one metal PAGK who is wielding his halberd two-handed. And there is not one mention in either C:DH or C:GK of PAGK weapons being two handed... I suggest purchasing the new codex and reading it. Actually, the Grey Knights Codex does specifically say that Halberds are two-handed weapons (Page 54). However, being two-handed only applies to game rules; how they're modeled is a non-issue. Of course, since I'm pretty sure there are no options in the GK Codex for pairing a nemesis weapon with anything that counts as an additional CCW, being two-handed is kind of a non-issue anyway. Ceasarian
Many of the older metal models have been posed to look as though they are shooting their storm bolter at an enemy, so I wouldn't be too worried about the appearance of the models on the table. Plus, the older models still look amazing. Personally I'll be using all of my older metals models as Purifiers and Interceptor squads. The older models still great, and look just enough apart from the newer plastics that an opponent will be able to easily tell the difference between units. I hope that this helps, -Cease Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/232372-old-models/#findComment-2798259 Share on other sites
thade
People are failing to mention something that will clear this up, I think. The storm bolters are wrist-mounted; they don't take up a hand. :) Both of their hands are free to wield the NFW. They fire the SB the same way they control the rest of their power armor: the Black Carapace.
