Anyway after going on holiday to England and a visit to Warhammer World (great gaming boards but the shop was disapointing) I came home with the most part of the models for my army. I've had them for 4 months and progress is slow so i thought ide start posting to keep me on task. DarkVen Posted June 19, 2011 Share Posted June 19, 2011 I think, nice job :D althought, first purifer need his lenses to get painted. I also wanna say, that s-bolter must have drilled holes. And red parts asking for more highlight or blending. What about dread - he looks as good as purifiers (hope I tell it right)... buuut I recommend to wash green cables :blink: maybe with Chaos black. MithrilForge Posted June 20, 2011 Share Posted June 20, 2011 Great stuff IM !! the bolters do need some drilling love,overall the GK's are real nice,maybe as stated some extra highlights here and there although im thinking the camera shots may have stolen some of them away ;) i really love the Ven dread - yes a wash on the green cabling would help there....i gotta say the Book looks a tad out of place on the arm there :) may have been better placed on the shoulder plates or chest area,but overall im lovin what you have going here.i look forward to more !!! cheers, Mithril ps where in Oz are you from? facmanpob Posted June 22, 2011 Share Posted June 22, 2011 Just a small point about the bases - for my personal tastes I think they would benefit from being a different colour; at the moment they sort of blend in to the rest of the model.
