Losfer Werds Posted June 23, 2011 Share Posted June 23, 2011 the trouble with the DC box is models end up looking way too busy unless you mix bits in with normal marine kits. Made the same mistake on my first DC (used nothing but the bits from the DC box), they look way too busy. The next group of DC I made had a mix of DC and regular marine parts. With so many bits left over I've been modifying existing Marines to look slightly more "Blood Angely". I like the command squad idea for the extra special weapons as well, though if you plan on making him, the Company Blood Champion gets a great upgrade with left over DC parts.
