Raving Bonkers
As the title states. I am curious as I am building up 2 las/plas razors and the thought popped into my head. Cheers, RB Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/232604-do-lasplas-razorbacks-count-as-2-weapons-or-1/ Share on other sites
Maximus-92
I remember having my ear chewed off by several rules lawyers at my LGS when i assumed them to be two seperate weapons, so i believe they are counted as one for the purposes of weapon damage, but don't quote me on this one Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/232604-do-lasplas-razorbacks-count-as-2-weapons-or-1/#findComment-2798226 Share on other sites
Gen. Confusion
The lascannon is a weapon. And the twin link plasma guns is a weapon. So it has two weapons. JamesI
The Space Marine FAQ makes it clear that they are separate weapon systems. Raving Bonkers
Thats what I was thinking, I was just thrown off by every conversion I've seen has the plas guns attached to the lasgun. Thanks guys. RB Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/232604-do-lasplas-razorbacks-count-as-2-weapons-or-1/#findComment-2798236 Share on other sites
MalachiOfRuss
While on one hand it does make things slightly better in that you can take 2 "weapon destroyed" results, you can still only fire one of them after moving up to 6" Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/232604-do-lasplas-razorbacks-count-as-2-weapons-or-1/#findComment-2798297 Share on other sites
Raving Bonkers
Its for going up against a crimson fist army. Before now I've never needed plasma and don't like the thought of it getting hot on my marines. Just a chance to do some conversions. This question only came into mind while I was discussing about a list here on B&C and I have already made a quick and rough conversion also posted on B&C. The additional anti tank will be nice to have also. The SW FAQ updated Dec 15, 2010 clears this up and says if a weapon destroyed result is rolled only ONE of the (-a-) lascannon or (-b-) twinlinked plasma gun are destroyed link to GW FAQ Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/232604-do-lasplas-razorbacks-count-as-2-weapons-or-1/#findComment-2798472 Share on other sites
