Ultramarines Spray Paint

Recommended Posts

Well, you want a primer so that it goes on smoothly. I'm not sure that Krylon makes an ultramarine blue primer.

On troops, I would use flat black Krylon then paint on the ultramarine blue and other colors. The black base should be left as a liner on parts of the model.

You could also try Ultramarine Blue by the army painter. It's pretty expensive, but I haven't had a problem with them.

One tip: No matter what primer you use, check your local weather report. If the humidity is above 50%, I would not prime. In fact, I won't prime above 40% humidity, but I live in Houston, Texas so that REALLY cuts into my hobby sometimes.

I live in SC, so humidity is a really big problem. But I'll look into the Army Painter
