KnowThyEnemy Posted June 21, 2011 Share Posted June 21, 2011 Just a little update for those who are wondering how the heavy hitter does against Nid MCs. The end result was I lost all 10 paladins to a man after 3 total rounds of combat, Draigo survived with no wounds. They killed in total: Swarmlord, Winged Hive Tyrant (LW, BS, Twin DS), Tyrant Guard, 3 Zoans, 2 Trygon Primes. All in all not a bad trade off considering this was a kill point game (for fun may I add) and this left him with 2 warriors, 1 pod, and 2 x 5 man stealer squads with a broodlord in each. I had Draigo, 27 purifiers and crowe still kicking. Ran out of time but I believe I was up a good bit on kill points, having only lost 1 purifier squad the paladins and a vindicare. Killed doom, 2 pods, 1 steal unit and 2 zoans prior to the big combat. As far as advice goes, be prepared to lose a good many guys if you end up in this cluster&*%$. Only having 2 hammers hurt, lashwhip was annoying and failing to get off 2 IDs with Draigo and 2 Hammerhands def hurt the bottom line. Stormshadow Posted June 21, 2011 Share Posted June 21, 2011 I kicked the collective ASS of Dante, Sanguinor, sanguinary guard with banner and Priest and Mefiston in 2 turns of assault. And they were the ones that charged! In the end Drago was killed but none of the Paladins were removed, only injured.
