A slight update on this. I have started to plan out a background for the image. Still A LOT of details to sort on the torso and legs but getting there slowly.

Yeah, the face is very good, as is the pose and sence of movement. I think you need to work on a few things:

1. The weapons and some parts of the armour should have sharper lines and more definition -now they are almost as organic as the face -style-wise.

2. This is hard to explain, but the colors are very "separated" from each other. The red parts are red and red only, the grey parts are grey an nothing else an so on. Objects take on hints of the color of their surronding. An early "painting-lesson" for me was to paint on the whole canvas at the same time -let the colors spill in to each other -use the red in the reflections i the gold, let the background color be mirrored in the shadows of the armour and face.

3. See what happens if you think in terms of cold an warm light -cold shadows and warm highlights or imagen how a cold light is coming from one direction and a warmer from another -varying the color temperature can relly give life t a painting

Decided to rework the face plate a little to try and sort a couple of issues that were pointed out to me. (background is temporary)
