Urb
Figured I'd keep a log as I put together my ultramarine army. I'm just assembling right now so I have something to play with. As everyone else has discovered magnetizing can help reduce costs. In this case it's for a dreadnought. I've always loved dreads but have never owned one until now. Almost reason on thier own to play marines. Simple enough. Just attach 1/4" magnets to everything and you're off. Who doesn't want one of these? Easy to convert and damn cool. Will be a while before I get paint on this guy but he'll be the next up after I complete a speeder. Hmm reminds me I have to get magnets for those too. Legio Draconis
If this comes close to your emperors champion it will blow my mind. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/232740-urbs-ultras/#findComment-2800210 Share on other sites
Urb
If this comes close to your emperors champion it will blow my mind. Thanks. Appreciate that. I'm not sure I want to put 100+ hours of painting into this guy however he is a showcase model. I was thinking something similar to the eavy teams effort would be suffice. Ofcourse I always think that at the start of any painting project, including the EC, and end up putting double the hours.
