Rikuturso
Just 500p combat patrol. I won though I made some stupid mistakes in the endgame. I had my combat patrol tournament list 7 Purifier, 2x psycannon, hammer, halberd, Rhino 10 GKSS, 2 psycannon, Rhino He had (If I remember correctly) 2 or 3 squads of Pink horrors 1 squad Seekers I didn't have much chance to use any anti-demon stuff, but GK is just as good against anything. Today I shot down Imperial Guard. They shot me, killed 2 or three, I didn't move and gave them 16 psycannon shots + sb:s. Destroyed One 10 man autocannon veteran team from cover + Chimera (+five veterans). Game was still draw, since I couln't move near objective fast enough (Two damn inches!!!). nurglez
I've played 2 games vs daemons, 2000 points, same lists for both. My draigo wing (draigo, libby, eversor, 15 pallies, 2 dks) vs mixed daemons (great unclean one, khorne herald on jugger, blue scribes, 2x4 flamers, 4 blood crushers, 2x10 bloodletters, 2x11 plague bearers, 2 soul grinders). I won the first game (due to it being kill points, I haven't lost a kill point game yet with my draigo wing :D ), but lost the second (was objectives and I made a few stupid mistakes, but ultimately I was just too slow to capture/contest his objectives). Daemons are nasty, especially in close combat, due to their invulnerable saves mainly, shooting really hurts daemons, as the weight of fire we can bring over loads their saves. I took out the khorne herald and 4 blood crushers with 1 round of shooting from my 10 man squad in the first game... Oh, and dark excommunication is gold vs daemons, denying daemons their gifts is great :D Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/232759-grey-knights-vs-our-one-true-enemy/#findComment-2800546 Share on other sites
Flinch
I've played quite a few games vs Daemons. Both vs mixed daemons and Khorne (with multiple blessing of the blood god). GK's performed really well when you play to their strengths: Mid range shooting army. Force Weapons mean jack in melee vs most daemons, and are a penalty in melee vs BotBG daemons. I have won nearly all of my games vs Daemons using Grey Knights. Crowe, Purifiers, Dreadnought-toting Stormravens. Have recently added a squad of Paladins too. I also may be "That Guy", so YMMV. Godhead
I've played them once at 1500 points. 1 khorn herald on jug, skulltaker on jug, 2x 3x crushers unique for wound allocation, 3 squads of horrors, 1 with changeling, 3 screamers, 1 tzeentch dp, bolt and gaze. Sanctuary is awesome. I got 1st turn and realized I could have shunted my interceptors all over the board and basically denied any place to deepstrike into. (I didn't as there was no sense in playing if I did that). I did castle up, and warp quaked the bejesus out of my deployment area to keep him from ds'ing into my face and shot him to death. I lost my interceptors (having actually forgot to reroll hits vs his crushers due to prefered enemy). Blessing of the blood god is annoying, but shooting those guys works just fine.
