Thunderwolf Conversion Q

Had to google them. The base looks about 40mm. If the model is the size shown in the image I saw and it IS a 40mm base, I'd say it's too small. Goblin wolf riders wolves are a bigger model and they're considered small.

...personally, I'm very unimpressed with the model.

BWAHAHAHAHA! Sorry, Wulfebane, reading that last line just reminded me of John Cleese in a viking helmet.

Seriously though, Red, check out the stickied thunderwolf model thread at the top of the space wolf forum for ideas. I'm saving to order some of Mr. Dandy's rabid cyborg lupines of frothing death and screaming vengeance. :(

Lemme get in here, and recommend you the Mythicast Wolves.

I just got some of those bad boys the other day, and man o man are they awesome. The scale is just right imo, the sculpting is really good, and they even have some that can be used for Iron Priests and Wolf Lords/WGBL's. Plus, they sell smaller wolves that could be used for Fenrisian Wolves.

But, with all good things comes a price. Monetarily speaking, they arent too terribly bad. But, be prepared (like I was told) to do some work. Like most resin things, there will be bubbles, excess, and holes that will need fixing up, but nothing over the top. Otherwise, they are dang near perfect IMO.
