This was an epic battle of 50k points.. 25k perside. The SW lead the battle with a force about 8k with 8k from the imperial armor. Imperium was supported by deathwing, Ravenguards, ravenwing and whitescar n naval airstrike. Chaos force came with their superhavies... 1 warlord, 2 stompas, 1 Warhound, 1 Shadowsword, 2 Brass Scorpion.. and a few more 12 in total.. Imperium forces only has 4.

Hail brother!

Let me just say:"Awesome pics!"-I hope you guys really enjoyed it, it certainly looks like it.

I am very interested in how you guys proceeded.

We here are six fellows coming together 2-3 times a year, due to real life and other stuff(like geographic distances and the like), for our apoc matches.

After a few years of gaming we now settled for 60k per side, so everyone can bring their stuff to the table. A friend of mine always gets us the room over the weekend for free and another one is a baker, so we're never short on food ^_^ . As acting Wolf, I'm mostly bringing the beer  .

Anyways, we tend to set up the field on friday and then start at sat. morning and finish sunday at lunch time. We always plan for sleep, but never get to it, too busy playing.

I really envy you for the fact that you seem to play against fully painted armies though, as I'm still facing large chunks of unpainted minis on the opponents side.

How many rounds did you play and did you just play annihilation or for mission objectives, who won, how did you run your army?

Really any detail about your setup and match would interest me, just give me an walkthrough.

I'm really happy about the fact, that half the world away someone else is also leading the wolves to a battle of comparable size and Ragnar is the head of his army too.

Have some Ale on me!

Well good brother, the game was superb that for sure. Which apoc game isnt... :D

@bulweih - WoW!! that all i can say for some one that plays 60K perside.. darn that madness.. our 25k perside took us about 10hour to complete. I would love to see some pictures from such a massive game.. i will post up a link for the batrep from our local club, feel free to join. The game was objective base. The battle was called "Re-Taking of Ghemehaal" its the second part of the epic battle which the imperium had lost to chaos.. so this is the second part where the SW led the imperium forces to recapture the system... that the fluff. The list below was the forces that took part. We are currently planning to play again soon.. cant wait really. Im hoping i can prepare a thunderhawk for the next Apoc.. APOC ROCKS!!!

Legio Malaysia

Cheers Guys.

Thanks for the link brother!

Awesome paintjobs there, seems like you guys are a nice lot.

I'm currently very busy, but I'll read the battle report over the weekend and try to provide a link to some pics of our battles for you as soon as I'm able.

And yes, first time I saw our 120k arranged against each other on the tables I went "AAAWESOME!", too, surely a sight to behold.

Plus: APOCALYPSE rocks!!! -When you find the right guys to play with  .

Well we do our best to make the table look good when we play, so we made it compulsary that all model to be painted with at least 3 color. Feel free to venture through our forum. More comment an idea are alway appreciated.

@bulweih- please do post up the link.. would love to see it.. might even give me and my guys some idea on a larger scale apoc... ^_^ . Well it is true having the right crowd is important. Down here we provide trophies & seals as prizes to encourage sportmanship between player. We dont encourage giving miniture as prizes, as this would spoil the game.. as every one want to win and claim more models for themselves.

I will post up more apoc games when we have our next game.

cheer guys

Hail Brother!

Sorry, been a lot more busy than anticipated. Just read through that awesome bat-rep and posted a comment of thanks for providing me the opportunity.

I will show that around in our gaming circle to underline to my fellows just how awesome Apoc looks when being played with fully painted armies.

Last game we had I played my buddies Deamons who don't even have primer on them yet, but to his defence he also has a LOT of GK's ^_^ .

I fear the pics will not suit your eyes like those of your group suited mine, but anyways below is the link to the gallery of the last two battles.

If you ever have any questions or look for inspirations regarding big Apoc games, or tips how you don't forget bringing all your GH to the battle ^_^ , feel free to PM me!

Once again thanks for the link, had a great time finally reading the full report!

Our gallery

Sometimes our little forum srews links up :) , so if you can't see the pics right from the link, klick on the button named "Galerie" and it should work out :P .
