It has been awhile since i last posted

 

I have myself semi large ultramarine army and i persuaded my brother to start the hobby. Fact is he is lazy painter so i offered to paint an army for him (He has AOBR marines plus few random models) He gave me a theme that i should paint those marines.

 

He asked that armor should be white but he wanted the marines look like they had been fighting for years in mud and booboo

 

So without further gibberish here are the photos. My plan is to continue here to details.I think these are now only on "basic table condition"

I suggest white spray undercoat for this colour scheme. They'll look much cleaner. I'm not pro, but i think , that if u wish to get rusty-damange effect on minis, you should first paint them clean, and then give some battle damange.

 

Anyway, this guy with standard looks nice to me :whistling:
