Mortarion Posted June 30, 2011 Share Posted June 30, 2011 I like it. Good conversion and painting. However, there is one (minor) detail that buggers me. The wind and motion in the model is not consistant. The hair and beard is blowing to the left, the large purity seal on his shoulder is hanging straight down and the purity seal on the book is blowing to the right. SunThirster Posted June 30, 2011 Author Share Posted June 30, 2011 Thanks for comments everyone. @WakaWaka - The face on the shin is indeed a Sanguinary guard helmet face, shaved and then smoothed on with greenstuff. @Zincite - My recipe for Gold is a base of Shining gold, washed with Brown Ink, drybrushed with a Shining gold/Mithril Silver mix and then final highlights with Mithril Silver. @Mortarion - Your right about the different positions for parchments, beard etc from the wind.. i convinced myself it would look ok as hes casting a power so there would be winds/energies blowing all over the place:P Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

My only critique would be the placement of his left foot, it would look much better flat against the books he's standing on. Other than that, very nice!
