smoadia85
Ever wonder, in the 41st millennium, what happened to the heretic homeworlds after 10 millennia since they were exterminatus? Do they stay desolate and worthless? or some battles have fought on them? or some turned into daemonworld in the end? The possibilities are endless! Unless they were blown to chunks already. And also Nikkea. Wonder what happen to the planet now. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/233307-heretic-homeworld-revisited/ Share on other sites
Dominicus
Destroyed, sucked into the Warp, destroyed. That's about the only possibilities. No-one in the Imperium would allow for a heretic homeworld to remain in their space boundaries. Marshal Rohr
The Ultramarines conquered Colchis, so its still around. Olympia was conquered too. Chemos was declared Perdita, iirc. Cthonia broke apart. Nostramo was destroyed by Curze, but is still mined for Adamantium, iirc. Barbarus is a Death World, no reason to live there. Prospero is ruined. If I recall correctly, in the 4th Edition Codex Space Marines, it says that "worlds in parentheses subsequently destroyed." Every traitor homeworld is then listed in square brackets. They may still be intact, but it seems likely that the worlds are barren with no atmosphere or, like Cthonia and Nostramo, giant asteroid fields. Codicier Lucion
What about chapters like the Blood Gorgons? They were noted to at least have recruitment worlds. How do they keep ahold of them? EDIT: Never mind. Wrong thread for this. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/233307-heretic-homeworld-revisited/#findComment-2809001 Share on other sites

Jim Shady
I've read somewhere that the homeworlds of the traitors legions are around (the ones that haven't been destroyed!) and are under quarantine or something by the Inquisition. Chapter Master Ignis Domus
As Alecto said, that chart from the 4th edition C:SM, reprinted in the 5th edition one, lists the homeworlds as destroyed. While some might have just had an exterminatus, they would have a blockade around them at the bare least.
