A better looking Dreadknight?

It's got a few perks over a traditional Dread, but I doubt it'll be a major game changer. I'd put money on a Dreadknight versus it any day, at least based off the experimental rules with the wargear we know about :cuss It has a neat look to it, but when there's already oh.. 4 or 5 types of Dreadnought to chose from, what's one more? Least we don't have to worry about it!

It's in the curious position of needing to look both more advanced, and older technologically. My first thought when I saw it was that the designer must have been trying to do that, and also looking at the original Dreadnought design with an eye toward making something that could stand with today's models.

Looking at it more, the legs look very much along the Japanese "real robot" style, but the torso has the retro WWI era swooping, smooth armor going for it. It's odd looking for that, I think.

But as far as using it as a replacement for the Dread Knight, isn't it a little small?

I'm definitely getting one as a Venereable dread... As far as having it look like a Warjack... I think the major difference is that it's doesn't look "hunched" like a warjack. The arms are also better proportionned.

I would also have to say this is an updated RT dread... So if anything Warjacks are based on some of the old 40k and maybe titanicus models...

Obviously its an updated RT dread ;) The point is it looks nothing like our current dreads, and this new reimagining of the RT dread looks a lot like Warjacks.

And I don't like Warjacks. I like Dreadnoughts. Like this one:

well what you are missing is that the Dreadnoughts now are based off this dreadnought and also the artwork for this dreadnought came out along time before Warjacks. So who copied who? is the real question.

I already answered that question, in the post of mine that you quoted, but you might have missed it:

I think am missing something where are they simiular . the whole upper body of khador jacks are different . the hip joins are different from the ones jacks use , but are the same on post heresy dreads and very simiular on defilers which accoring to fluff were made by one of the luna wolfs techmarines who was a master at creating dreadnought hulls.

the arms and engines are also very simiular to the ones used on post heresy dreads and the fists used for the FW look very much like the ones used on siege dreads and the ironclad.

the front sarcofagus is also the same as used in later post heresy venerable dreads[like the chappy or ultramarine ones]. So agian how are they simiular to jacks and too different from other GW/FW , unless you mean that both the khador ones and the dread on the art are both red.

A better looking DreadKnight is simply a re-positioned one.

Look at this one, submitted in Spanish GD yesterday, converted by piquifl and painted by Arsies:
