1095054
I am a beginner, halfway through painting a bunch of tactical blood angels. They're all painted blood red now, but no highlights or anything. From what I can tell, some people give blood angels highlights, and some use inks - correct me if I'm wrong! I want to let a dark colour into the recesses rather than use highlights. Can I use a diluted paint to do this? Help appreciated! antilles13
Hi there, when I paint my blood angels I use devlan mud wash to darken the recesses of the models. It's effectively like diluted paint, but saves you having to get the consistency right yourself. crazychib
As antilles13 said above - use Devlan Mud wash to shade the recesses, then use Blazing Orange to highlight the edges/raised areas of the armour.
