Brother Tyler
I think that the 'Eavy Metal Mephiston establishes a long-standing sufficient precedent for you. ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/233381-ba-librarians/#findComment-2809332 Share on other sites
Demoulius
true, but renember hes chief librarian, so the normal norm most likely doesent apply to him  in my eyes paint him how you like. just make sure people understand what he is :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/233381-ba-librarians/#findComment-2809397 Share on other sites
Inquisitor_Lensoven
my libby only has a blue shoulder pad to represent what he is. personally i think it doesn't look very good to have 1 blue model amongst a bunch of red and black models (how ever i do paint my SPs mostly white because i think the 2 or 3 of them i plan on using make a nice contrast with the rest of the army.) Arkangilos
Same for me, my Libbies all have: either a blue 'hood and blue shoulders (Termie libby), or a turquois or blue helme with turqois hands. (But mine are a successor chapter, and they just keep following through with the helmet distinction) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/233381-ba-librarians/#findComment-2809564 Share on other sites
SevenExxes
My Librarian is blue with red shoulder pads and backpack. I'm considering painting a Stormraven blue and gold for my Librarian's personal escort and his Honour Guard. thade
None of my Librarians have any blue on them whatsoever. They have the colors of my command structure and they have obvious psychic hoods. It's a chapter-thing. <3 Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/233381-ba-librarians/#findComment-2810764 Share on other sites
ulllyssies0110
My BA Libby is blue but my GK Libby is bolt gun w/ a blue right arm. So if you want you're Libby red paint him red but I would put some blue in there so people now it a libby Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/233381-ba-librarians/#findComment-2810771 Share on other sites
Mutters
This is semi-relevant because I use C:BA to represent Soul Drinkers, but Sarpedon, the Soul Drinkers chief librarian wears the colors just like every other marine. I believe his Aegis Hood is blue, however. In general, I think that you can paint them how you want. I'd rather paint my army all one color and paint the shoulder pads differently. The pads are visible enough to denote them without making your librarians, apothecaries and chaplains look like an eyesore in the middle of your army. JamesI
I always paint my librarians red with a little blue on them. Never liked the look of all blue Librarians. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/233381-ba-librarians/#findComment-2811026 Share on other sites
Mr.darkness
I Actually painted it blue, quite dark, with a red tabard and head. I think the contrast looks nice. However, i thick the conclusion to draw from this thread is just paint it how you want it and make sure your opponent knows.
