Brother Ambroz
Played a game against a BA player using Mephiston saturday. I had a Khornate prince go against him. He used the Sanguine sword spell and I tried arguing that it caused meph to wound him so I showed him the ruling. He said no because it doesn't actually wound him but he told me since Meph was using a force weapon he still got the 2+ invuln for it. Is this correct? I figure he's right about the Sanguine sword but since all Daemons are eternal warriors I figured force weapons just counted as power weapons against them. Any input anyone? Hiro_Protagonist
Eternal Warrior doesn't make force weapons count as power weapons. Eternal Warrior makes the model immune to the Instant Death that force weapons can cause. Blessing would therefore still work. Your opponent was correct about Sword though. It augments the user and then the user actually does the damage, not the power.
