barry_hhh Posted July 4, 2011 Share Posted July 4, 2011 Hi all , i have been meaning to get a photo or 2 up of this as it may help me get it done a bit faster.. but first i need some help , I have never painted ultra marines before and for some reason the test mini i did is MUCH darker than most people standard ultras i see , whats the "normal" blue recipe used anyway , this mini diorama is going to consist of probaby 3 minis , 2 ultramarines 1 TW vet one normal tac marine and a venomthrope,, the normal marine is badly wounded and about to get overrun but his mate saves come to his rescue , kinda hard to describe without pictures.ill getthem up ASAP any input to how you paint the ultra would be very welcome, black base / mordian blue / ultra blue / spacewolves grey HL?
