Bryan Blaire
The Land Raider Ares was supposed to have been developed and used by the Dark Angels where the Vindicator's armor wasn't enough. Off the top of my head, don't remember if that was an all Deathwing action or not. The rules for the beastie should still be available on GW's site if you just search for Land Raider Ares. Azrael uses a specific Land Raider Prometheus as his command vehicle and if I can recall correctly, this is an Imperial Armor variant the Dark Angels could use. I think they can also use the Hyperios variant, as well as the Terminus Ultra pattern. I'm afraid the best method to obtain the rules, especially legally - which you can't ask for otherwise here - will just be to buy the books. ilnar
Frankly, unless your willing to buy the books, you'll have to torrent an illegal copy, if there is one. The updated rules aren't complete, requiring in many cases, one of the books, Still, to answer your first question, We can use any pattern dreadnought or land raider or flyer or transport with a model available on the www.forgeworld.co.uk site, (much too long to list here, go look yourself ) in addition to the LR with the vindicator cannon. Slim
While nicely presented and put together you don't need Imperial Armour 2 to play with the units on the PDF - the book adds nothing to game-play over the pdf.
